Jim Bounds is a longtime GMC motorhome expert specialist, educator, and founder of Motorhome Rehab Ranch. For decades, Jim has helped GMC owners understand, restore, repair, and travel in their classic GMC coaches first, as GMCO-OP in Orlando, Florida.

Motorhome Rehab Ranch was created after the physical operation of GMC-CO-OP in Orlando, Florida was forced to shut down. Jim started sharing all of his expertise on classic GMC Motorhomes on Patreon. The mission is to help keep classic GMC motorhomes on the road while sharing practical knowledge, tools, and resources with owners around the country. The Ranch exists to teach, preserve GMC history, and support the GMC Owner community.

Motorhome Rehab Ranch focuses specifically on classic 1970s GMC motorhomes and real-world ownership experience. The content is based on decades of hands-on repair work, restoration projects, and helping GMC owners solve practical problems.

Yes. Many GMC owners know Jim Bounds through GMC Co-op, which served the GMC motorhome community for many years through restoration services, parts, technical support, events, and owner resources.

As the GMC community evolved, Jim transitioned his focus toward education, knowledge sharing, and helping owners learn how to better understand and maintain their coaches. Following the closure of GMC Co-op operations in 2020, many of those efforts continued through Motorhome Rehab Ranch.

Today, Motorhome Rehab Ranch serves as Jim's primary platform for sharing decades of GMC motorhome experience through educational videos, organized technical collections, community projects, events, travel, and the Ranch Hands membership community.

While GMC Co-op and Motorhome Rehab Ranch are different organizations, the mission remains the same: helping keep classic GMC motorhomes on the road and supporting the people who own them.

GMC Co-op concluded operations in 2020 after many years of serving the GMC motorhome community in Orlando, Florida.

Since then, Jim Bounds has continued sharing his knowledge and experience through Motorhome Rehab Ranch, where GMC owners can access educational videos, restoration projects, technical discussions, events, and community resources designed to help preserve these unique coaches for future generations.

GMC motorhomes were produced from 1973–1978 and remain one of the most recognizable and innovative motorhomes ever built.
